Professional Experience

Pam is a partner in the Springfield office of Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP with over 15 years experience in public accounting and also has seven years of accounting experience in private industry.

She has extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Not-for-profit accounting, auditing and taxation, including:
    • Labor unions
    • Trade associations
    • Catholic religious congregations and institutions
    • Employee advocacy associations
    • Educational organizations
    • Charitable organizations and foundations
  • Certified fraud examiner
  • Litigation support
  • Reconfiguration consulting for Catholic religious congregations
  • Investigative accounting

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS), graduating with highest honors.
  • Master’s degree in accounting from UIS in 1995.
  • Elijah Watts Sells award winner. This award is presented semi-annually to the top candidates in the United States who have earned the CPA certificate. Pam was one of 107 candidates receiving the award out of a field of 67,000 candidates.
