Associations

The needs and opportunities for associations and other member-driven organizations are unique, and KEB understands and appreciates what is required to serve these groups. We can and do provide all of the traditional audit and accounting services that are required by associations, but even more importantly, we are available to assist associations by:

  • helping them to create and maintain efficient office procedures and financial reporting
  • providing support for the evaluation and control of costs
  • providing budgetary assistance and cash flow projections
  • conducting an analysis of association functions to identify goals, evaluate effectiveness and offer alternatives for improving efficiency, effectiveness and outcomes
  • developing a strategic plan to articulate clear goals and direction for the future, and develop action plans to meet identified goals

KEB recognizes that associations cannot survive without their members, and we offer services that are directed toward helping an association maintain and grow its membership. KEB can, for example:

  • conduct surveys and/or focus groups with association members to obtain their feedback on the effectiveness of the association in meeting their needs, and suggest ways to improve member services
  • provide educational services to members who need technical assistance in budget development, bookkeeping and reporting, or improving the effectiveness or efficiency of a specific function or the entire operation.

Those associations and membership organizations that use KEB services effectively can expect:

  • clearly articulated direction and goals for the future
  • more efficient office procedures and improved financial operations
  • an improved understanding about what association members need and expect
  • association members with improved business operations and more accurate financial reports
