Sample Project Summaries

  • Congregation of Women Religious in the United States. KEB was engaged to facilitate processes through which several ad hoc committees developed new detailed guidelines for different aspects of local community life, including guidelines for discerning local community and ministry, establishing and evaluating local community shared life plans, forming networks of local communities for ministry and other purposes and financial and local community budget guidelines for sisters.

  • United States Province of Women Religious. KEB worked with this Congregation to structure and facilitate a process for evaluating a new governance plan which had been approved for an experimental period by the Congregation’s international leadership. The purpose of this evaluation was to determine if governance processes were working as envisioned and to identify any needed changes and improvements. Included were structured input processes enabling Congregation members multiple opportunities to provide input at different times and in different settings.

  • Province of Women Religious in Pennsylvania. KEB consulted with this Congregation to assist them in making Province-wide decisions in several areas including establishing a new ministry grant process and making recommendations regarding living mission in later life (i.e., retirement). Ad hoc groups comprised of sisters with varying viewpoints and backgrounds were established to reach agreement in these areas to precede consensus recommendations made to the Assembly of sisters as a whole.
