Financial Institutions

The financial industry has experienced regulatory challenges and economic changes in recent decades.

At KEB, we help you navigate the evolving economic market, providing support and adherence to general acceptance accounting principles (also known as GAAP).

We work with community banks, regional banks, credit unions, and brokerage firms in Illinois and Missouri with assets from $70 million to $1.6 billion. Our services include federal reserve filings, income tax preparation, loan reviews, payroll, due diligence and mergers/acquisitions for our clients who are expanding to purchase another financial institution. We also perform required annual audits for credit unions and assist them with filing 990 forms with the IRS.

Because of the broad spectrum of our work, we have developed a comprehensive understanding of the markets our financial clients are servicing. When we perform loan reviews, we are familiar with the industries our clients are lending to because we also serve those industries — from construction contractors to agricultural entities. This enables us to comprehend not only the numbers but also the current challenges and opportunities of the market, so we can provide guidance accordingly.

Compliance is a growing concern for financial institutions. KEB offers compliance testing and consulting within the Bank Secrecy Act. We regularly attend continuing education to ensure that our understanding of the latest developments and regulations will benefit our clients.

It’s crucial to maintain compliance and mitigate risk in the economic environment today.  At KEB, we serve the numerous accounting and consulting needs of our clients to ensure financial stability.
