We are excited to highlight Amber Leslie for her outstanding contributions to KEB! As a Senior Auditor in our Marion office, Amber has been a vital part of our team since joining in 2016. Her work focuses on supporting local governments, electric cooperatives, and small non-profits, ensuring these organizations maintain financial health and compliance.

Amber’s academic journey is as unique as her approach to auditing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Recording Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University—a field quite different from accounting. However, her passion for numbers and business led her to pursue a master’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. This diverse educational background provides her with a broad perspective and creative problem-solving skills that she brings to her role at KEB.

Amber’s family life revolves around her two beloved fur-babies. Mr. T-Rex, a 9-pound mini-dachshund/terrier mix, is known for his sassy personality, especially when he’s hungry. Ranger, a 9-month-old pincher/shepherd mix, joined her family as a Christmas gift to herself last year. Both are rescues and bring daily joy and laughter to Amber’s life.

Amber’s story is a testament to the idea that diverse experiences and backgrounds can lead to remarkable success in any field. At KEB, she continues to make a positive impact, driven by her unique blend of creativity, expertise, and passion.
