Meet Jared Van Slyke

Jared Van Slyke joined the KEB Wealth Advisors team with an impressive background in tax-efficient retirement planning, investments, and insurance. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Jared was a safety for the Wolverines football team and proudly contributed to a Sugar Bowl championship win in his senior year. His disciplined approach on the field translates seamlessly into his holistic approach to wealth management, making him an exceptional asset to our clients.

Jared and his wife, Lauren, are proud parents to three wonderful children: Gabriel (9), Victoria (5), and baby Sophia. Outside the office, Jared enjoys spending time outdoors with his three dogs or engaging with clients to ensure their financial goals are being met.

Fun fact: Jared’s spirit and teamwork extend beyond the field and into every interaction with our team and clients, ensuring every strategy is built for success!

Meet Chris Brauner

Chris Brauner joined KEB in June 2024 and hit the ground running as a Wealth Advisor, helping clients manage and plan every aspect of their financial lives. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rockhurst University, Chris brings a unique perspective to his role. During his college years, Chris excelled athletically, playing soccer, lacrosse, and rugby—a testament to his diverse skills and team-oriented mindset.

Chris is a devoted father and stepfather, raising a blended family that includes his son Tyler, daughter Charlotte, stepdaughter Maddie, and stepsons Jon and Brad. He also just recently proposed to his now-fiancé, Barb, on Thanksgiving!

When Chris isn’t busy helping clients achieve their financial goals, he’s likely building something interesting in his woodworking shop or coaching lacrosse. A natural people person, Chris is proud of his ability to make others feel important and counts being a father as his greatest accomplishment!
